Hello,

I have recently bought a Macbook pro 2020, and I already had an iMac 2011. I have spent quite some times to use my iMac as a display for my Macbook using this cable: https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MMEL2AM/A/thunderbolt-3-usb-c-to-thunderbolt-2-adapter

I am able to connect my old Macbook with Thunderbolt2 to the iMac, but with this Macbook pro 2020, I have some problems. Anyone has the same issue or any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Nasim

Current/recent Macs do not support target display mode. You need to buy a proper external display.
