Keynote My Shapes
After saving a shape to My Shapes, how do I retrieve it? My Shapes does not show up in any menu. Keynote version 9.1.

No problem, custom shapes are vector objects so they that can be freely edited:
The shape form can be changed; right click the shape and select: Make Editable then drag any of the red handles to change the shape.
Click on the Shapes button in the tool bar, go down the list to the last entry; My Shapes:
I got that. I can restyle the shape and save it to My Shapes, and the reshaping changes persist, but the color changes do not. When I retrieve it from My Shapes, it still has the default grey color.
You need to save as a new shape:
Right click the changed shape on the slide and select: Save to my Shapes
Thank you. Shapes were not listed on my tool bar. I didn't know that it could be customized.
The problem now is that the color of the shape was not preserved. My ultimate goal is to create a shape with a fill color other than the default grey.
