Photo title find in album not finding

I have sierra on my imac with about 30,000 photos in albums and have been using titles with numbers to sort within an album. However yesterday I noticed only 2 photos showed up for an image that I know has 9 photos. What's going on? btw: I cannot update the operating system from Sierra 10.12.6, but I do not want to purchase a new computer.

Plus when looking at different albums in photos library used to display the time length of the album clips. Both stopped, after Ventura. Any ideas? Thank you

Can't see album option when uploading When trying to upload an image from finder to a website under images I can see all images in photos, but not the individual albums as an option. Mac OS Ventura

Ventura Behavior Changed: Photos Upload Dialog - Can't See Folders and Albums, only the entire Library. When I attempt to upload photos to Smugmug via its Web interface, I click "browse this computer" and a Finder-ish dialog pops up. Prior to Ventura, when I click on "Photos" under "Media" in the left side pane, it would bring up a new pane that had at the top, the Apple Photos color-wheel icon, with a dropdown that showed my Apple Photos Folder and Album structure. I could navigate to a Photos Folder / Album, select the photos from that album I wanted and they would upload. Now in Ventura, the behavior changed. In Ventura when I click "browse this computer" on the same Smugmug interface, the Finder-ish dialog pop-up still shows "Photos" under "Media", but I do not have the option of navigating through my Apple Photos Folders and Albums. I only see a view equivalent to Library / Photos in Apple Photos. There is a blue folder saying Photos at the top, no color-wheel, and no Folder/Album structure, and no way to navigate to a particular Album in Apple Photos. I want to see the Folder / Album information so I can easily find the photos I have already organized into albums and not have to pick through my entire library. I have tried Safari and Chrome with the same result. How can this functionality be restored in Ventura?

You may want to check with a smart album, if the missing photos are still there:

Create the smart album with "File > New > Smart album"
Set the rule for the album to "Title start with ..."

In your version of Photos the rules for smart albums may be slightly different. Try to find a suitable rule to search for text.

is this album with missing photos a smart album? Or how are you searching for the numbers?

I enter the number in the upper right search box

I then get a choice of filename or title.

The image I want is in title.

But not all photos with that number are displayed. It wasn't like that until yesterday.

This is concerning because I'm trying to take more photos of items I want to list on etsy.

I don't think it's a smart album. I'm not sure I've ever set one up.
