Motion&Orientation iOs 14.4 enable

Hello. In previous iOs versions there was an option to disable and enable the accelerometer in settings safari in “motion & orientation” I have the lates iOS 14.4 and I don’t see that option. How do I enable the accelerometer motion & orientation in iOs 14.4? I have so many courses I made time ago with that feature.

Thank you

Hi coer,

It sounds like you'd like to find the ability to adjust the accelerometer settings for the iPhone in iOS 14. Currently there are adjustments that can be made in Settings > Accessibility > Motion.

If these aren't the settings you're looking for, can you share more about the goal you're looking to accomplish? Maybe was can suggest an alternative.

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities forum, have a great week!

Hey core,

Thanks for clarifying. It looks like the option is no longer in iOS 14, but you can send feedback to Apple to request it to be returned.

Additionally, check to make sure Reduce Motion is off in Settings > Accessibility > Motion:

Reduce screen motion on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Then, tap Settings > Battery and make sure that Low Power Mode is off:

Use Low Power Mode to save battery life on your iPhone

Take care!

I see that open but there is not the motion & orientation access. This is what I need:

In iOs 13 it was very easy as you can see.. The purpose is that we have some elements we programmed for courses that use the accelerometer to move. We have objects that moves along the screen if you moved the iPhone. From there we had interaction if user collided elements. In general is just move the objects with some programming now safari it doesn’t work. And that link I gave you I can’t find that functions anymore in iOs 14, who knows if it is needed to do something else to have motion & orientation in Safari, iOs.
