After update 10.14 the fans start to ramp-up all the time

So I have this MacBook Pro 13 inch from 2017 and it has been great except in the last few weeks. Originally it had macOS 10.12 but then I upgraded to 10.13 and recently to 10.14 . But since upgrading to 10.14 the fans start to ramp-up even if I just use safari or watch a youtube video. They sometimes even ramp-up in the START UP!!! What should I do???

Hello miguel9675,

Try resetting your SMC, https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295 as resetting also resets your fan controllers.

Try checking your CPU temp with a temp monitor (iStat Menus, Temp Monitor, CPUmonitor, WatchMyComponents, ect.).

Optional, if SMC reset didnt work:

I highly recommend iStat menus if SMC reset won't work, reason for this suggestion is due to iStat Menus being able to monitor what programs/software uses most CPU usage, and how much heat (estimated) it makes your cpu produce, to up to even controlling your fans. That is NOT recommended as it would produce lots of heat without the fans spinning, and can damage components. There are some free software that actually monitor your cpu temp.
