Choppy audio on Apple TV app for iphone

The audio from Apple TV app on iPhone is choppy, on headphones or just playing direct out of the iPhone speaker. Movie is fully downloaded. Problem does not reproduce with other apps like Spotify, Netflix, etc. Tried restarting, delete/redownload, but neither worked. Surprisingly hard to google this problem, hope someone else has experienced it and has a solution. Thx!

Apple TV app pixelated on Sony Bravia Android Tv I can’t play the Apple TV app on my Bravia tv. The picture becomes very pixelated/unwatchable. No issues with internet, all other streaming apps work fine. One work around has been to limit to SD but still some pixelation occurs. Have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling app, still occurs. Any thoughts?
