iTunes can't download it need a lower version of the new update.

After updating to Catalina on a new MacBoo Pro I am unable to install iTunes. It says it needs an earlier MacOS. What to do. now I cannot update my iPhone Pro.

This update requires macOS version 10.13.99 or earlier

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.2

You're supposed to use the Finder to update or restore it, and sync content from the individual applications.
