Question:Q:iPhone speaker button now leads to choices

When I use my phone in my car, I want to activate the speakerphone to be hands-free. Now, when I touch the speakerphone I get a menu with three options. Since I’m driving, I can’t lean in to read what those options are without risking a crash. I tried to several times, but keep getting those options. after pulling over, I was able to read the menu options, which are the iPhone itself, speakerphone, and an iPad which was a mile away. I was already on the iPhone, so this is a completely senseless choice. The iPad being a mile away is also senseless choice. The obvious choice is the speakerphone, the middle option of three, which I can’t read while I drive in my car.

Bluetooth is turned off, so the iPhone should be expecting no other devices it could use as a speaker. Is there anyway to get back to the old mode of simply toggling speakerphone on and off? If not, the iPhone is useless to make calls in my car. Are there other devices that might work for this? Android, perhaps?
