No Cell Coverage and Battery
Hi folks. I'm running into a funky issue. I have a Model: iPhone 12 Version: iOS 14.4. This has been a persistent problem. I live in an area with no cell, so there is zero service, period. I do however have to jump into cell service like anybody. This is where my issue starts. I like to leave my home obviously and I don't like to have to turn on and off my cell coverage every single day. It's a pain to remember to do so and I can't figure out how to get my phone to quit searching for a signal that isn't there while in my home. I'm running a full mesh wireless through Eero. It's completely stable and not part of the issue as my iPad Pro running on iPadOS 14.4 with a cell plan does not have the same behavior.
How can I stop an iPhone 12 from constantly searching for a cell signal to prevent battery drain without have to physically shut off my cell service every time I'm exclusively wifi?
