iTunes library Mojave

My library contents and playlists no longer show in iTunes on my mac. Content (songs) is present in itunes folder on mac using Finder.

iTunes works on my iPhone.

I'm afraid if I sync my music I will lose the songs from my phone.

How do I get my library on mac back?

Thanks

OK, with the information you gave me, I figured the problem out. Turns out I had 2 iTunes libraries, one using the path Music ->iTunes, another via the path user -> itunes. I restarted iTunes using option key, and selected the proper library, (using the path through my username), and it worked!

Thanks tt2
