MBA M1 2560 x 1440 to External Monitor 1920 x 1080?

I have a MBA M1 with 2560 x 1440 resolution and I want to buy a suitable external monitor, preferably 24/25". (27" is a consideration but that bumps up the price). Prefer not to pay more than £200 (maximum £300). I've found very few 24/25" 2560 x 1440 external monitors which combine having height adjustment and a USB-C port. I could use an HDMI or Display Port but USB-C would be ideal so that the MBA could be charged through the monitor. I would have a far wider choice if I could use an external monitor with 1920 x 1080 resolution. I do not use the Mac for gaming. My usage is basic home office use such as email, messages, calendar, internet searches, YouTube videos, documents (Pages and Numbers), letters, spreadsheets etc. My photos are also on the Mac but I don't do any printing of photos. My question is, would I be ok with an external monitor with 1920 x 1080? I've read conflicting views. If I have to buy a 2560 x 1440, so be it. But if I can choose a 1920 x 1080 that would give me more choice. Thank you.
