Hello- I have an old Mac book pro. I haven’t logged in for awhile, but would like to login in now to backup my pictures. My password isn’t working although, I am sure it is correct. I tried resetting the password with the Apple ID but then gives me an error that there is no internet connection. I also tried the other options when starting in safe mode. Any idea what I can do?

We do understand wanting access to your MacBook Pro to get your photos backed up, and any other data you may need.
Trying safe mode was a great step to try. When you tried resetting your password with your Apple ID, how far did you get when you were prompted there wasn’t and internet connection? You didn’t mention which MacBook Pro you have, but does it have an Ethernet port that you can use to connect directly to your modem? See Connect your Mac to the internet using Ethernet.
