I have a Firestick 4K running the Apple TV app. My movies are being presented in a washed out manner which indicates HDR is in the stream and my projector cannot do HDR. I need to turn it off in the app. How do I do that?

When you stream content in the Apple TV app, the video automatically plays in the highest-quality format available according to device settings. HDR is not a toggle within the app.

The Apple TV 4K box will check screen capability before offering HDR (as device setting), and also allows setting SDR when HDR is available.
Earlier models, including the still available ‘Apple TV HD’ (4th generation) have no HDR, only SDR.
