I hit the heart challenge for today but it hasn’t registered on my fitness app or Apple Watch... any idea why?
I figured it out. Power down both your iwatch and iphone. Took me a couple of times but it worked

Same thing here. Why put out challenges when it doesn’t reward?! Frustrating! I expect more from Apple
Restart the watch and phone,I had to do this twice before the award would show.
Same here- it’s now the 15th and the greyed award has disappeared. Frustrating. Have tried restarting watch and phone.
