How do I "select All" text on a webpage and what do I use instead when tapping only works on inserted text.

I have not found answers as to how select text on a webpage. Nor, am I able to use the tap gestures, to select text, unless it is text I enter myself.

When it comes to copying text from webpages, none of the gestures work, like tapping to select a word or paragraph, and there appears to be no option to select all. The time and difficutly involved is considerably greater, when the only option seems to be moving those blue dots around until the top one is moved to the very top of the page, and the bottom dot, moved to the bottom all while also trying to scroll the pages. I am often not sucessful my first attempt at getting those dots to cover the entire text.

Is the tapping 2,3 and 4 times, only supposed to work with inserted text or is there something wrong with my new iphone?

How does the keyboard help when trying to navigate and select from a webpage?

Did apple forget to include the Select All feature? Are there any plans to restore this feature on future updates?
