iTunes songs are completely out of order

When I purchase and download music from iTunes or import a CD to iTunes the music is initially set in the order from the album information or from the CD information but all of a sudden all of my music has changed so that the songs in each album appears to be in alphabetical order and not in the order it is suppose to be in. To correct this I delete the current iTunes library and replace it with a backed up version which works for a while, the songs go back to the way they are suppose to be but within a few hours or days depending when I use the iTunes player it goes back to listing each album song in alphabetical order which is NOT what I want, I would like it to be in the set order of the album.

Can anyone provide help.
