Should I work in a 1080p timeline or 720p timeline?

I produce a weekly hour long sports program that is linked to my website using Vimeo. I shoot in 1080p since my new Panasonic CX-10 does not shoot in 720p. Do I edit in 1080 then use Compressor to lower the file size to around 2 gigs and 720 or do I edit on a 720p timeline and just use Compressor to lower the file size? By the way I shoot in 59.97 since it is a sports program with plenty of slo motion.

Thanks,

Tom

If you have a recent computer that's capable I'd suggest using a 720p timeline, which gives you the option to reframe the 1080 media without real quality loss.
