And looking for an older one interferes with pairing new ones. How to permanently delete, the standard method does not work, the old profile continues to come up. (Kirkland KS9)

Hello Ric_Altman,

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to remove old hearing aids from your iPhone and this interferes with your current hearing aids. To help with this, please force close the Settings app and restart your device as iOS clears cached data and does other system optimizations when you turn your device off and on. Then go to Settings > Bluetooth, tap the next to the name of the device, then tap Forget This Device. Then test your issue again.

Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone

Set up and listen to Bluetooth devices on iPhone

Use hearing devices with iPhone

Cheers!
