Why doesn't the attachment icon show up in emails sent to me?

Being able to view attachments in emails is very important. To clarify, emails that contain attachments show correctly on the iPhone, but not in Mail on your Mac. In place of the attachments do you see a loading icon? Also, does this happen with multiple email accounts or one specific account? If the issue is with one account, does it happen if you sign in to a different user account on your Mac, and use the mail application? In Mail you should see a paperclip icon towards the right of the emails subject line. If you're not seeing a paperclip image are you able to see if the issue continues in an alternate user account on your Mac? If you don't have an alternate user account created you can follow the steps outlined in the article below to create a user account to see if the issue continues.
