Why no calculator for iPad

Why doesn’t the iPad iOS have a native calculator? To hard to code? Too much space? To Lazy?

There are some good Ad-free examples of Calculator Apps obtainable from the App Store - and some very good paid examples. Herewith a single sample of each from my personal favourites:

I never understood that either. But maybe it's because Apple reckons that if you have an iPad, then you also have an iPhone. Calculator for iPad is also on my wish list.
