When I opened my MacBook Pro, it said “your screen is being observed.”

I have never seen this before today.

Try checking the icons in your top menu bar to see if a screen recording is happening.

You may have hit the CMD + Shift + 5 keys which turns it on.

Press CMD + Shift + 5 now and end the recording
