update of listen now

On my Apple TV 4K, the "Listen Now" tab will not update by itself. Sometimes I will briefly see the last couple albums I played, but then it reverts to something from a few days ago (or whenever it updated last). The music suggestions are handy for finding music to listen to, but they do not update. Eventually, I have played everything I am interested in. This tab used to update frequently, in fact I thought it updated too often. Before someone tells me to restart the Apple TV and see if that fixes it, of course that fixes it, but I should not have to restart my Apple TV whenever I want it to update. Is this the expected behavior? It updates as expected on the iPhone, without having to restart my phone or the app.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like your music is not updating your Listen Now tab unless you restart your Apple TV. It should update without having to restart every time. Is your Apple TV software up to date? See how to check here: How to update your Apple TV.

Thanks for the reply. My Apple TV is set to automatically update, and it is currently at 14.4. This issue has been going on for quite a while, so updating software has not helped it. There does not appear to be any settings that would affect this, so I don't feel like this is due to anything I have done or not done. However, I have not seen other people reporting this issue, so I have to wonder, why me? It does this same thing on both of my Apple TVs. If nobody else has this issue, and there is no known fix, then I don't feel confident that contacting Apple will help. In fact, I did contact Apple about this a few months ago, but they told me to try restarting my Apple TV, and to make sure I have the latest version. I have also found that sometimes, it does update, usually when I am trying to look for an album that I saw previously and want to select, only to see it update before my eyes, with the desired album no longer available.
