ProRAW and Smart HDR

Hi,

I understand how ProRAW and Smart HDR features works, but when I enable Smart HDR option from settings and disable ProRaw from Camera App, does iphone12 pro still process photos with smart HDR or does it treat them as regular format that is selected(JPEG/HECV) ?

I don't see an option to toggle HDR On/OFF in camera app when ProRAW is enabled. I can only do that when ProRAW is disabled in settings.

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14

Hello raghuakella17,

Thanks for asking Apple Support Communities about using ProRAW and HDR settings on your iPhone 12 Pro. In the resource you recently viewed, we see "If you turn RAW off in the Camera app, the format of the photo defaults to the format you set under Camera Capture in Settings > Camera > Formats: either High Efficiency (HEIF format) or Most Compatible (JPEG).". Here's that link again, just in case: About Apple ProRAW

Also, here's more information on HDR: Adjust HDR camera settings on iPhone

Thanks again, and take care.
