Can I repair distorted/overmodulated audio on a video clip in FCPX?

Corrupt audio I downloaded a live video from facebook and imported it into iMovie to edit. The video is fine, the audio cut out in places through the video. The original video audio is good, it uploads perfectly in other editing software it's just iMovie where the audio cuts out in places and becomes choppy. I updates iMovie and nothing changed. Any help appreciated.

M1 iPad audio problem So I recently bought an M1 iPad Pro (5th Generation) for editing my videos on iMovies. I transfer videos from my PC using google drive and download the files through a browser. I use OBS studio for recording and live streaming to Twitch. Before this iPad I had 3rd Gen iPad Pro. I would always download the videos from google drive to edit and have never had audio problems with it. However recently with my new one I downloaded the video and while the quality was fine, the audio sounded extremely crackly and popping, I downloaded the same video on my older iPad and don’t have the issue there, the audio waveforms in iMovies are exactly the same but the audio only crackles on the M1 iPad and not my old one. Please help me solve this issue.

audio in video cutting out with most videos ive taken in the past month or so, the audio goes out completely after the first second and then will come back 2-5 seconds later. any idea on how to fix this?

You may be able to improve it a bit but it will never be perfect or even good.

If it is too loud you can reduce the volume by dragging the horizontal volume line down.

You could also experiment with the various audio filters.
