Spot on screen of iPhone 12 pro max

I had the same type of dot on my iPhone 11Pro Max (it was smaller and on the side versus near the notch. Wasn’t really noticeable to anyone unless I pointed it out). It didn’t actually affect functionality but if it bugs you enough you can bring it to Apples attention. Not sure if they will repair it if it’s not affecting anything (may deem it cosmetic) but won’t hurt to check.

Change your display to an all white background and may I can see it better.

Looks like a deformity in the "notch".

Have it examined.
