Unfortunately you have not followed the above instructions. The very first line is that Your iPhone must have a fast Wi-Fi connection; you cannot update over cellular data or a cellular hotspot.
I can see on your screen shot that your iPhone is connected to a Cellular HotSpot. That will not work. You must be connected to a Wi-Fi Network to download, install and verify the update.

You do not have to remove the SIM card. You just have to use a Wi-Fi Network. Let me know how you make out. It should work fine. You are welcome.

thank you very much for your response, I’ve tried all the above, my phone was on 80% and on charge, I’ve attempted to do it again now but still getting the same screen, as soon as I disconnect my WiFi it says update paused, after reconnecting it still says “Requesting Update” for the past 6 hrs 😔😭
Ok, I wasn’t aware, I’ve always been able to update my phone using that connection. Will remove sim and use router, will revert if that works.
