Wifi Ask To Join/Auto-Join Settings

I keep getting notifications when my phone connects to my wifi. I’ve gone into the wifi selection in settings and have changed the Ask To Join setting to off and the Auto-Join Hotspot to never. Every time I go out of the settings app, or even back to the main page of settings, it changes back to the original settings of “notify” and “ask to join”. How to i get this to stay at the settings I’ve selected?
