Apple Watch prompting me to join my wife's cell phone hotspot daily...?

Hey humans! My Apple Watch is prompting me to join my wife's cell phone hotspot daily. I keep telling it to cancel but it persists. Also worth noting is that my wife's hotspot is disabled on her iPhone so I really am wondering what is going on here. Has anyone seen this happen? What is the fix? Thank you in advance!

On her iPhone turn her hotspot on

On your watch Settings>Wifi>tap the hotspot connection>scroll down and tap forget

Turn wifi off on your watch

On your iPhone connect to her hotspot.

Then on your iPhone tap the ! then forget the connection

On your iPhone connect to your normal 2.4GHz wifi connection

On her iPhone turn the hotspot off

Have her force restart her iPhone

While hers is booting force restarting your iPhone by whatever method your version calls for.  As soon as you see the Apple logo force restart your watch by holding in the crown and side button for 10 seconds till you see the Apple logo then

release.  Log into your iPhone and wait for your watch to boot, then log into it.

If wifi is stiil off on your watch when it boots back up, turn it on

It should connect to the same wifi as your iPhone
