iCloud

I understand that you do not have a backup of your iPhone on iCloud. Do you have a backup file created on your computer? In other words, if you do not have a backup file anywhere then you are not going to be able retrieve any of your data.

Did you every use iCloud for photos? You can got to ➔ www.iCloud.com and log in with your Apple ID. Go to the Photos section and see whether you see any of your photos there.

Perhaps:

If they were not uploaded to iCloud, and are stored no where else, then they would be gone. On the other side, look in other storage locations (i.e. USB Flash Drive, External Hard Drive, DVD, Time Machine Backup, etc.) and see if they can be restored from it.
