After any IOS or OS update I find that a few forced restarts both your iPhone and your watch are needed.
First try force restarting your iPhone by whatever method your version calls for. As soon as you see the Apple logo force restart your watch by holding in the crown and side button for 10 seconds till you see the Apple logo then release. Log into your iPhone and wait for your watch to boot, then log into it.
Failing that I'd try unpairing the watch from your iPhone then pairing it back setting it up as new.
I’ve tried everything I’ve read, and nothing is helping. Watch is a year old and I can’t make it through a day now. Has to be the update
Mine drained in an hour but I followed suggestion and turned off iphone, whet it restarted at the apple, I restarted the watch. All was fine after that.
YES
I had the same issues. I could fix it by installing 7.4. it worked.
7.4 Its only available as a B-Version. You have to register for it online via Apple. It’s very easy, please check online how to install it.
I just saw that 7.3.2 was released late yesterday as well...shame my watch is now getting serviced...
I reported the issue, so hopefully it helps raise it. I think it's safe to say we all love our watches so when stuff like this happens it's really frustrating.
Nope, happening to me as well.
I did the reset also and it looked like it was better , but only lasted a few days. Now it's back to draining very quickly again! Please help Apple!!!
still not what it was. I've done all the suggestions and currently on 7.3.3 on Series 4 watch. Still a significant battery drain daily.
After 7.4 version 7 this issue came back! The battery drain after 6 hours
Inform them about this!!.
The new 7.4 next week should be working well...!!! (strange these things happen to an Apple product)
Slowly but surely I'm thinking it depends on purpose. Can't imagen that only few of us suffering from the bad code and no one fix it.
Must be a very little number of people have that issue. Therefore no one cares about it at Apple.
Then Apple is not the company I though it was.
Anyway, let's see on 7.4 version next week...
