Hi chastity130,

If your Mac is asking for a system lock PIN, your Mac was remotely locked using Find My Mac.

If you don't remember doing this, go to https://icloud.com/find and select your Mac from the list of devices. If it was locked recently, an Unlock button should be available, which will reveal the PIN to you.

If the Unlock button isn't available, bring your Mac and proof of purchase to a nearby Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. They may be able to remove the system lock PIN from your Mac.
