Keyboard typing delay

I just purchased a new M1 Mac Mini. It has the current version of Big Sur on it. Every so often my Magic Keyboard (new version) has a serious delay when typing and will repeat a letter or number several times even if I've only typed it once. I was not having this issue with my iMac 21" computer. The only way I've found to fix this issue is to reboot my computer. Any ideas as too what's going on or how to fix it?

Thank you in advance.

Sounds like maybe he's working on something behind your back.

To take a peek, open your Activity Monitor and select the CPU tab.

I wouldn't get to worried about some high CPU processes if you just moved in. Processes like Time Machine, Photos and a few others take a bit to settle in and settle down. What you're really looking for, is a froze, failed or third party app that has high CPU usage.
