My AppleTV won’t connect to WiFi.

Question

My AppleTV won’t connect to WiFi.

I changed my WiFi password on my router and now my Apple TV won’t connect to my WiFi. It will let me select my home WiFi network, but then it tries to automatically connect without letting me enter the new password. I’ve tried restarting the appletv device. And I’ve tried completely unplugging it and waiting 30 seconds, plugging it back in and trying to connect again, and none of that made a difference. I just need it to let me enter the WiFi password. Does anyone know how I can trigger it to ask me for the WiFi password again?

What to do:

You need to remove the network, and then add it back in. Doing so, the network setting would refresh.

I followed the trouble shooting steps in Get help with WiFi networks on your Apple TV. That would work great if it gave me sign on screen to put in the password! Which it doesn’t. Which is my whole problem! But thanks though......
