I have tried to restore my iphone contacts using the advanced settings. It is telling me that it is unable to do so. There doesn't appear to be any contacts backed up, even though I have this facility 'on'. My contacts are disappearing.

I have tried to restore my iphone contacts using the advanced settings. It is telling me that it is unable to do so. There doesn't appear to be any contacts backed up, even though I have this facility 'on'. My contacts are disappearing.

Why am I being told that icloud cannot perform a restore on my contacts. I have followed the procedure, going into advanced settings etc., but it says it cannot restore files. Please help

Contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other

How many Contacts account (email client server) you have?
What is your default Contacts Account?
Which email account you are using to store Contacts?
