Reinstlaling my operating system with a Firmware Lock on my bios. I forgot the password I set line 7 years ago on my late 2013 macbook pro.

It was a gift I have been using it for graphic design and photography editing for over 7 years and I set the firmware password a long time ago when I tried to do a fresh OS X install it kicked locked me out. And it’s to trade in are there any other options
Sadly - not being flippant - remember the password or check wherever you may have written it down ?
Short answer is not good - NO ! Only way is to have Original Bill of Sale proving Ownership and to an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Repair Store
