I just got a new laptop, the old one broke. How can I put the songs in my ipod, which was synced to my old computer, into my new laptop??

Syncing is one way only, computer to device, not the reverse. The idea is you transfer you music library from your old computer to the new one to get music onto it.

Recovering These:
You mention that it "broke". In what manor did it break? If it is a dead screen, then use an external monitor, seeing if you can boot into Recovery Mode.
