iPhone 11 unresponsive to touch.

The iPhone 11 seems to not be “frozen” but does not respond to any form of touch. The buttons are still working and Siri is still appearing. We can’t however unlock the phone, look at notifications or do anything at all too it. It is still recovering notifications and we are still getting alerts etc.

we have done the process of volume up button, volume Down button and then side button which completely restarts the phone but is still unresponsive. Also, we’ve tried plugging it into a computer, but we need to unlock the phone to use the computer, which we can’t do.

it has been like this for 2 days now, and we really need it to start working again.

Any help??

Follow the instructions in this article by Apple ➔ If your iPhone is Non-Responsive or Frozen and see if that helps.

If that does not help your phone might need service ➔  Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

Follow the instructions in the fist link which will allow you to connect your iPhone to your computer and reset your iPhone. Also have been following the Force ReStart method perfectly? See below if needed:

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
