After tiny liquid spill it appears I have no sound on macbook air. ANy ideas?

I've got a MacBook Air 2020 that works fine, but sometimes the speakers make a weird noise, almost like a spark or if there's water in there. It's kinda freaking me out. When the speakers make this noise once, the Mac stops producing any sounds. I can't hear a song or the sound to a video. It sometimes happens, not all the time. The weird thing is, when I restart my Mac, the sound from ex. videos and music return. If this only happens sometimes, should I send it in for repairment? Or should I not do it? I can't hear anything My MacBook Air sound is not working and is very low and I can't hear anything at all and I checked the sound its at the highest bar.

You'll need to make an appointment and take it in for service. Liquid damage to Mac computers and accessories not covered by warranty - Apple Support
