I have an old IPOD that has photos I want to keep. When I plug the old iPod into my Mac it shows up on the finder side bar but nothing else is showing up. I'm unable to synch or upload all my old photos to my Mac or iCloud even using the photos app.

I have an old iPod classic with photos I want to upload to my Mac or iCloud. They are not stored anywhere else. When I connect it to my Mac I an unable to synch, or upload any photos using either the finder or photos app.

Try using the image capture app, rather than finder.
