iPhone X charging

it is my first time using iPhone X but I have used other iPhone before x. I realized that with my old iPhone 7plus, when the battery is dead and you switch on, it shows a battery and a cable on the screen and when charging, it show a red battery on the screen till it automatically turns on.

but when the X, when the battery is dead and you press the side button, it only shows the Apple logo and when it’s on charge and you press the side button, it shows the Apple logo after some seconds and later it automatically turns on after it has charged for some minutes.

please is this normal when charging iPhone X.
