Web browser cmd+enter shortcut

Does anyone know if there is a way to set up a custom keyboard shortcut in Bootcamp/Firefox so that cmd+enter adds "http://www." before and ".com" after text entered in the URL address bar, similar to ctrl+enter? I find that cmd+enter is an easier shortcut than ctrl+enter (both are on the same end of the keyboard and can be simultaneously pressed with the same hand), and it seems like Bootcamp or Windows web browsers should include this shortcut for Bootcamp users.

Be aware that all physical keys on the Keyboard are not the same as keys that you can use to create Keyboard Macros. The subset of keys that you can use will be smaller than the total number of physical keys. Command key is the same as the Windows Key on your on-screen keyboard. You may not be allowed to use it in a keyboard macro.

I tried using SharpKeys to remap control to the right command button, no dice. SharpKeys recognizes both keys as 'Special: Right Windows (E0_5C). I've tried manually mapping 'Special: Left Ctrl (00_1D)' to 'Special: Right Windows (E0_5C)', but the only change I notice after signing out and back in is the control button stops working.

Can you enable on-screen keyboard and check if it reflects your actual Mac keyboard?

Loner T would you mind providing more details? I interpreted your post as a suggestion to remap keys using Keyboard Layout Creator. I installed downloaded Keyboard Layout Creator, and then loaded the existing keyboard 'United States (Apple)', but the keyboard layout does not resemble that of a mid-2015 Macbook Pro Retina 15".
