Garageband Disk is too slow or System Overload.

Hello All,

I have a new Mac mini M1 and keep getting this message, 'Disk is too slow or System Overload, I have plenty of memory. Happening while watching the lesson videos. Any ideas how to fix this?

Garageband system overload Hello. I have a late 2014 Mac mini 2,6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Ram and Intel Iris 1536 MB GPU. In garageband i have been working on a song. It is just 1 minute long and I am starting to get the ,,System overload the audio engine was not able to process all required data in time. This happens after the last bit of the song.After I press ok the rainbow wheel starts showing up and the Mac mini is unresponsive. Either I have to force shutdown the Mac or open a new window and force quit garageband. By the way if you are wondering I just upgraded to a fast SSD over the old HDD and my computer is blazing fast. Could you please help? Thanks for your efforts.

GarageBand and other apps downloaded from purchase history in apple store quitting unexpectedly. Hello community I hope someone can help me. I erased the disk on my 27" Mid 2010 iMac and installed a fresh High Sierra 10.13.6. I completed all available updates and this OS is the highest I can go. I tried to download GarageBand but the most recent version is only available with Big Sur so I was directed to download a compatible version with my OS from my purchase history. I was to get Garageband 10.3.5 installed but whenever I try to open the app it automatically crashes. I know my machine is "Obsolete" but it was working flawlessly until I messed things up trying to install a fresh copy of high Sierra. If anyone can offer some advice to get GarageBand working I'd appreciate it. (Also, the same thing happened with iMovie when I downloaded it from my purchase history). Below is the crash log:

Hello,

I called support they asked me to remove the Beta Version of Big Sur I was on, after that I had to uninstall GarageBand. Then reinstalled GarageBand and it worked.

I imagine that some part of the process is emulated. I don't know what to do to fix it.
