“Storage” window crashes on iMac

Hi. I’m having an issue on my iMac (2020) - it first occured yesterday when I tried to check the storage. When I open up About This Mac and go to Displays, Support etc. nothing is wrong but as soon as I click the Storage tab the window closes/crashes. I saw a similar thread about this and tried booting in Safe Mode, but the problem persists. I got the iMac in january and haven’t experienced this issue before, when I used to check.

Does anyone know a solution or what’s wrong?
