Playlist Problems

I am unable to add songs to my current playlists, edit my playlists or "see" my playlists on iTunes. I have a 7th generation iPod and all my software is up to date. I noticed others are having the same issue and that this issue is unresolved.

Does anyone know how to get this resolved??
