Firmware(don’t know password)

Cannot get into my macbook pro(2019 version). I have tried everything. I know the only way is to go to an apple store but with covid going on that’s highly impossible and a apple store is too far for me to go to. I know they can sort it out but probably be expensive to sort out. Only had this macbook pro a few days and now i cannot get into it :(

Hello Crazysioned4,

Thank you for posting. We know how important it is to be able to access your Mac! As we understand it, you're seeing a firmware password prompt, and you've been unable to locate the password, correct?

It sounds like you might've already reviewed this resource: Set a firmware password on your Mac. You mentioned that you don't have an Apple Store nearby. Have you double-checked to see if there might be an Apple Authorized Service Provider that's closer? Apple - Find Locations. The text below provides further detail on what you would need in this circumstance:

"If you forgot your firmware password

If you can't remember your firmware password, schedule an in-person service appointment with an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. Bring your Mac to the appointment, and bring your original receipt or invoice as proof of purchase."

We hope this is helpful. Kindest regards.
