Second user can't see First User but First can see Second...

Two users (both Admin) iMac BigSur.

First User sees Second Users 'computer' as a location in Network.

Second can not see First Users 'computer' in Network.

First User can therefore see Second Users Public folder but not vice versa.

Is this expected?

Thanks

Two misunderstandings that I hope I can help with:

1) There is no “first user” or “second user” computer.

If you see, for example, “John’s iMac” it is not because of a user named “John”. It is because of the name selected for the computer in System Preferences->Sharing. Both users will see the same thing. You can change that name if you want to.

2) You don’t need that to reach another user’s Public folder, but you can. If you’re John, and want reach Paul’s Public folder click “John’s iMac”, then the drive name, Users, Paul, Public
