I am having difficulty locating my photo file on my mac. Suggestions?

How do I find the photos that I was accessing through iPhoto before I upgraded to Big Sur?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

They should be in the pictures folder as an "iPhoto Library"

If they are not there, use a spotlight search.
