Hi HatiM1,

When this prompt appears, select Show In Finder. Then, move the application or file(s) to the Trash. Restart your computer afterwards.

Additionally, you might want to run a manual scan with Malwarebytes.

Report this to Apple:

Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more they hear of this, the more they'll know what to fix. So, provide your feedback.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - macOS - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feature Type"
  3. Select: "Applications/Utilities" for the "Feedback Area"
  4. Proceed from there as Necessary

What to Do:

I. What is the Application?:

Perhaps it needs to be uninstalled, then reinstalled. Contact the developer for more on the proper way to uninstall it.

II. To Close it:

A. First - Get to Finder:

[Hold Down: command + Press: tab] until you get to Finder (the smileyface).

B. From FinderForce Quit the Application:

  1. Go to: Apple menu
  2. Select: Force Quit...
  3. Select: the application (an all other application ending in "(Not Responding)"
  4. Click: Force Quit button
  5. Click: Force Quit button
