Hi HatiM1,
When this prompt appears, select Show In Finder. Then, move the application or file(s) to the Trash. Restart your computer afterwards.
Additionally, you might want to run a manual scan with Malwarebytes.

Report this to Apple:

What to Do:
I. What is the Application?:
Perhaps it needs to be uninstalled, then reinstalled. Contact the developer for more on the proper way to uninstall it.
II. To Close it:
A. First - Get to Finder:
[Hold Down: command + Press: tab] until you get to Finder (the smileyface).
B. From Finder, Force Quit the Application:
I agree. I have removed it after several attempts with malware bytes as suggested.
That is not the case. I did a quick google search and it is a virus.
I have the same issue. Even when I restart the computer it’s the same issue. Neither option does anything. Also safari started saying it cannot connect to the internet and all google searches automatically redirect to yahoo. This all started at the same time
i have taken all the steps mentioned above but I'm unable to get rid of it. A notification pops up every 5 seconds on the screen that reads "“DominantPartitiond” will damage your computer."
There is no application in the finder windows of the same name or anything that I can delete to trash.
Same problem, however 'show in finder is grayed out so it will not move. What now?
I have the exact same issue ... and so far no solution
Yes thanks I have downloaded it. Will try again after work!
No indication what the application is. So force and quit doesn’t work
This message even appears in Safe mode.
I am having this issue too and when I click finder, the pop-up temporarily goes away but does not open a folder in finder
The exact same thing is happening to mine and I don’t know what to do. It’s connected to the WiFi but it says google can’t connect to the internet.
Sorry last comment meant for adq88
