Starting yesterday I could no longer get my Yahoo account emails on my Mac that's running OS10.10.5 with Mail 8.2. My gmail account still works and I can get to my Yahoo account on other mac that's running OS11.12.6.

Starting yesterday I could no longer get my Yahoo account emails on my Mac that's running OS10.10.5 with Mail 8.2. My gmail account still works and I can get to my Yahoo account on other mac that's running OS11.12.6. I tried deleting and re-installing the Yahoo account but cannot, it seems like Yahoo is rejecting the user name or password (but I know both are correct). Was there a recent upgrade to Yahoo is not compatible with Mail 8.2?

entirely possible. But you can always use webmail on http://mail.yahoo.com/

There is no 11.12.6 However, any machine that runs 10.10.5 can upgrade to 10.11.6 without losing much in compatibility.

Mojave is the latest operating system that many machines that can run 10.11 can run, but not all, and it maintains most of the same compatibility. Past that compatibility drastically changes.
