just upgraded to iPhone 12 but whilst setting it up it won’t update my Apple ID settings and it is just has that little thing spinning next to continue. Been stuck on this part for about 30 mins now. Any ideas

I had the same issue and my solution was turning off the phone (iPhone 12) waiting a couple of minutes, turning back on, logging the Apple ID again and did work.

Yes that’s what I did in the end and it connected straight away.
